Healed Of Hypoglycemia

For most of my life, I’ve struggled with hypoglycemia. There is a long family history of it, as well as diabetes, but my faith was raised somewhat, knowing my mom had been delivered from it several years earlier.
One of my greatest fears was being “stuck” somewhere or in a situation that did not allow me to leave easily. If I did not eat every two to three hours, the symptoms were always the same: extreme hunger, accompanied by headaches, fatigue, dizziness, and inability to focus. I had prayed many times over the years for healing knowing that this was something the Devil was hanging over my head.
The very last time I attempted to deal with this problem was in August 2010. I went up for prayer, and through discernment, was told that there was actually a deeper physical problem that had never been addressed, and it was standing in the way. I resolved to make some changes, and trusted the Lord for the rest.
Fast forward to March 2011. After a Sunday night service, about 15 young people went to Tim Horton’s for some fellowship. I decided to only have a small snack, nothing really substantial, since I didn’t plan to stay for very long. We were only there for a short time when the music became very loud, and the atmosphere became extremely uncomfortable. Having tried unsuccessfully to get the staff to turn the music back down, we decided to relocate to the Ashdown’s house.
Once there, we settled in and resumed our conversations. Brother Tim Andes suggested a few songs to sing, and I ended up at the piano. I glanced at my watch, and it was about 8:45pm. As we sang, it became apparent that the Lord was not finished with us just yet. Brother Tim began speaking, leading out in prayer, and stated that we could bring the atmosphere of the church service right there with us. The Lord came down and began to move in a special way.
But I’ll be honest; the enemy was right there, telling me, “You know what happens when you don’t eat on schedule. You’re going to end up on the floor if you keep this up. This could go all night…” I responded back in my spirit and thought, “Whatever happens, happens. I’m here and I will not let my flesh stand in the way of what God wants to do.”
Somewhere in the course of the night, Brother Tim stated, “Now is the time, claim what you need from God, just believe it and He will do it.” I bowed my head and simply asked the Lord to anoint my faith to claim the healing. I’d done what I was instructed to do back in August, and now it was time for the full manifestation.
As I continued to play, I realized that not only was I not hungry any more, but I didn’t have any of the other symptoms that usually go along with it. I looked at my watch, 10:45pm, technically far too long for me to have gone under normal conditions. I did wonder if it was due to the Presence of the Lord being so strong, as I had some experience with that in the past at camp and other services. Normally though, as soon as I came out from it, the symptoms would set in. So I decided to wait it out and see what happened. Driving home, nothing happened; I still felt fine. I tested my blood sugar a few days later in similar circumstances, and it was normal, even after not eating for several hours.
It has been over a month now, and none of the former symptoms have returned. I want to thank the Lord for my complete healing!
